Are you a hard core angler who
hungers for the big game fishing that seemed legendary
before you discovered fishing in Panama?
Do your fishing dreams include a perfect cabina
on a stretch of the Panama Pacific where hooking
several marlins and sailfish a day is commonplace?
Where the average marlin weighs in at 300-400
pounds and 800 pounds is not unusual?

A Vision of Fishing in Panama
The fishing resort and club, in the Panamanian Province
of Chiriqui, is the brainchild of a few likeminded anglers,
who shared these values and passions. Their vision was
to create an environment that is family focused and
shared by friends along a stretch of the Panama Pacific
where the fishing is unparalleled. The resort club amenities
include a private restaurant and an infinity pool on
the water. We will provide a mooring in front of the
property for your boat, and we are in the process of
building our dock.
The club and resort grounds are just a few minutes
away from a marina where your boat can be moored or
stored in dry dock. Fishing guides and charters are
also available. The beautiful environs – often
called the Lost Coast of Panama -- offers an abundance
of other activities for you and your family: surfing,
snorkeling and scuba
diving, whale watching, nature hikes and bird watching,
horse back riding. This part of Panama is one of the
most beautiful , unspoiled stretches of coastline imaginable.
The picturesque coast, is studded with interesting rocky
coves, turquoise waters, pristine sandy beaches and
small, unexplored islands and, as you know, the best
fishing in the world.
Who is Captain Morgan?
Legend has it that the 17th Century Welsh
Privateer, Captain Henry Morgan, and his men spent time
in and around the property in Boca Chica. Approximately
five years ago, a team from an American University came
down and did excavations and studies around the property
... hence the name Captain Morgan's Black and Blue Marlin
Club.
