Map
of Panama - Location of Black and Blue Marlin Club
Captain Morgan’s Black and Blue Marlin Club is
located in the small, rural village of Boca Chica in
the Chiriqui Province of Panama. It's on the western
coastline facing south with a view of Isla Boca Brava
and the Pacific Ocean. The nearest city is David, which
is approximately a 45 minute drive down the Pan American
Highway. David is a modern city possessing all the provisions
you need to fully experience the local areas. There
are restaurants, hotels, casinos, shopping, hospitals
and a regional airport with daily flights to/from Panama
City.
From the continental U.S., many major airlines have
flights to Panama City. Panama City is a modern metropolis
full of a rich history, artisan markets, shops, restaurants,
luxurious hotels and, of course, the Panama Canal. From
Panama City, via Air Panama or Aeroperlas Airlines,
it is a quick, 45 minute plane ride to the city of David.
During your flight you will experience breathtaking
views of Panama’s coastline and sub tropical jungles.
Once in the David airport, you can easily rent a car
and drive the 45 minutes to Boca Chica or take a taxi
and just enjoy the ride. Along the way, you will experience
amazing views of the Boquete and Volcan mountains, the
Volcano Baru and a waterfall (during the rainy season),
the jungle and all its tropical foliage and street vendors
selling everything from iguanas and parrots to local
seafood, fruits and vegetables.
After turning off the Pan American highway, you will
travel through farmlands and the quaint town of Horticoncitos.
At the end of which you will see a sign to turn left
for Boca Chica. At the end of this road will be the
center of town and the club is your last stop on the
left. |
